Two Georgetown Restaurants in Top 10 in DC
Washingtonian named its 100 Best Restaurants of 2024, and two Georgetown restaurants made the top 10.
Lutèce (1522 Wisconsin Ave NW) earned the #2 spot, with Washingtonian saying, “This tiny Georgetown neo-bistro is everything we crave in a restaurant right now. Chef Matt Conroy’s cooking is elegant yet unfussy, simple but unexpected, and above all utterly delicious.”
Another French restaurant, L’Avant-Garde (2915 M St NW), landed at #9. “Start with bouillabaisse capped with golden pastry, or salmon that’s been marinated like herring, or simply the SalaNova lettuce salad – an entire head of specially grown lettuce glistening with perfect vinaigrette,” suggests Washingtonian.
Georgetown’s Chez Billy Sud (1039 31st St NW), Fiola Mare (3100 K St NW) and Green Almond Pantry (3210 Grace St NW) also made the top 100. Congratulations to everyone!
