Yellow’s (Not) Pizza Named one of Best Pizzas in U.S.
YELLOW’s (not) pizza – “a sourdough celebration of Levantine flavors” – just landed a spot on The New York Times’ list of the 22 best pizza places in the United States! The current (not) pizza menu is available Tuesday – Saturday from 4 pm – 9 pm at 1524 Wisconsin Ave NW. Highlights include the Harissa with burrata, jibne, more harissa, and basil; a Smoked Mushroom pie with burnt onion cream, green shatta, caciocavallo, and whipped ricotta; the Burnt Eggplant with kefta, fire-roasted peppers, smoked feta, and urfa chili crisp; and the Soujek with Armenian beef sausage, jibne, pickled chilis, and za’atar honey.
If you need more convincing, Chef Michael Rafidi won the nationwide 2024 James Beard Award for Outstanding Chef for his Navy Yard restaurant, Albi. So yeah – he makes some pretty incredible food.
